A southern German start-up in the service sector relies on SAP Business One in the cloud.
\n<\/strong>The driving force behind the founding of "Schneider Dokumentation" in 2017 was founder Manuel Schneider's strong interest in bringing structure to technical documentation. Naturally, this objective also needed to be pursued internally. For this reason, founder and managing director Schneider quickly realized that he needed a professional Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution to professionally support the company's rapid growth from an IT perspective.<\/p>\n

After initial skepticism towards the business software provider SAP, Schneider quickly recognized the advantages of the SAP Business One solution for his service company. His software requirements are fully met. The comprehensive software offers a transparent and affordable pricing model and allows for the integration of interfaces with external systems. Thanks to the cloud, there's no need for new hardware, eliminating the associated maintenance and support costs. "I was particularly impressed with the sales app and its intuitive user interface. The DATEV interface was also very important to me. I wouldn't have thought that the global player SAP would offer such a tailored solution for small and medium-sized enterprises," explains Schneider, who was awarded "Best Technical Documentation CEO 2020" just three years after founding his company.<\/p>\n

SAP itself connected Schneider with the SAP Business One partner conesprit GmbH. In the initial meeting with Roman Douverne, Managing Director of conesprit, Manuel Schneider's research was confirmed: SAP Business One is a genuine alternative to his current tools and an ideal opportunity to consolidate his applications and systems into a single software solution. The experienced SAP Business One consultant Douverne and his team impressed not only with their product knowledge of the IT solution but also with their expertise regarding the IT requirements of startups. "Often, it's not just purely technical hurdles that a company has to overcome when implementing new software. It's crucial to make the processes implemented simple and understandable for users so that the IT solution is accepted immediately," explains Douverne. Schneider adds, \u201eConesprit managed to explain the system to me in a clear and understandable way. I felt understood and immediately gained confidence. This made my decision to choose Conesprit as an implementation partner easy \u2013 they spoke my language from the very beginning.\u201c<\/p>\n

Young entrepreneur Schneider took advantage of conesprit's offer to test SAP Business One free of charge for 30 days to gain a solid understanding of the system. With the help of individually tailored training materials, which were explained to him during online training sessions, Schneider was able to quickly familiarize himself with the system. For any questions or problems, he always had a contact person at the consulting firm conesprit, who provided support and guidance on structuring the system throughout the implementation process. But it wasn't just existing standard processes that were mapped. A unique feature was the addition of a protocol to outgoing invoices. What was previously redundant work was now captured in a protocol embedded in the invoice document after the SAP Business One implementation. "This allowed us not only to map existing processes but also to optimize them \u2013 a fantastic result all around," Schneider summarizes the implementation of the cloud solution.<\/p>\n
