SAP discontinues its offer for SAP Business One Public Cloud:

In April 2023, SAP discontinued its SAP Business One Public Cloud offering. The Public Cloud will no longer be available to new customers in the foreseeable future. Unlike the Private Cloud, the Public Cloud is operated directly by SAP and not by a partner.
The existing concept for the partner-hosted cloud remains in place. In particular, with the client's commitment to further developing the web client, it is expected that the partner-hosted cloud offering will be expanded. Against this backdrop, now is the time to consider migration options.
As operator of the SAP Business One Cloud Platform www.business-one.cloud In the past, we have already migrated numerous on-premises installations to our cloud. For this migration, we have developed a roadmap that begins with a non-binding cloud assessment.
The Cloud Assessment This includes, among other things, the following steps:
• Recording of the business model
• Database type selection: Microsoft SQL or SAP HANA
• Company database is checked for release status and upgradeability

• Check for add-ons and modifications
• Patch the database to the latest release version
• Import of the database into our cloud environment
• Provision of company data for testing purposes
