Uncertainty is one of the greatest constants of our time. So many changes reach our world every day, and companies must constantly adapt to them. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and especially the market-leading SAP systems, are powerful tools for this adaptation. And this was precisely the theme of the SAP Partner Summit, held from June 13th to 15th in Vienna. As part of the keynote speeches on Tuesday of the event, a partner panel took place on the topic of "How to Adapt, Evolve and Grow in Today's World?" Roman Douverne, founder and CEO of conesprit GmbH, also participated in this panel.
„Why have you invested time and resources in innovations supported by the SAP solution?“ was the first question posed to Roman Douverne. „Innovations go hand in hand with opportunities,“ replied the conesprit CEO. With the dramatic advance of artificial intelligence, new business areas are now emerging that can be explored. This is because AI is now available in pre-built libraries and doesn't need to be reprogrammed from scratch. One important library is the SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), with which SAP provides the technological framework of the future.
Conesprit GmbH is contributing to this transformation through two key innovations. By implementing sentiment score analysis, the company has employed an algorithm that uses service texts and conversations to determine customer satisfaction and identify specific problem areas. A second powerful tool is incoming invoice recognition. This is an app that transmits an original invoice (e.g., as a PDF file) to SAP BTP for recognition, enabling the extraction of master data and the assignment of general ledger accounts, among other things.
„"What is your strategy for the next few years?" The answer: "We want to move towards autonomous decision-making using artificial intelligence." Example ChatGPT: Using an SAP Business One demo system, conesprit exported actual and planned revenue figures as well as DAX benchmarks to ChatGPT. The AI then generated an executive summary business report from this data.
And what happens next? Douverne offers a glimpse into the future: „We expect innovations from SAP at the intersection of artificial intelligence and business processes. Ideally, these should be turnkey services.“
