A discount in kind is a common type of price reduction. With this type of discount, the customer does not receive a cash discount, but instead receives free products in addition to the products ordered and paid for.
We have developed a solution that allows additional products to be included in the relevant sales documents. This is achieved by maintaining the item master data to specify the minimum quantity required to trigger a discount and which items are included free of charge. A discount is not limited to a single item type; different products can be included.
The identified free items will of course be taken into account during order picking.
