Often, this follows a standard procedure: open the accounting program, enter hundreds of data points and figures, and complete the transaction. A huge waste of time with little effect. How does this technological marvel work? The solution SAP Business One Cloud The app features integrated document recognition, enabling automated document extraction and conversion into business documents. Documents can be uploaded as PDFs or image files, such as JPEGs. Conesprit's new incoming invoice recognition app utilizes the SAP Business Technology Platform in the background to extract the content. The invoice header, containing key master data, and the invoice items—such as price and quantity—are processed by the app for easy posting. The application is hosted on the SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP's future-oriented technology platform, which also offers services with AI capabilities.
The incoming invoice recognition feature offers additional features that boost morale in the office, as it allows for the creation of links to previous documents. This enables the matching of line items between old and new documents, allowing them to be referenced and posted as closed. Furthermore, price changes between individual orders can be displayed. The application also allows for the addition of general ledger accounts, cost centers, and projects at the line item level.
